Project development of a “Quartierplan” for a commercial area in Arlesheim

This large-scale property was used for infrastructure buildings of the former “PTT” (Swiss Post and Telecommunication Company). The goal was to reconfigure the existing “Quartierplan” (cooperative local urban planning instrument for the development of larger sites), because it only permitted the use as a postal distribution center. Specification: new “Quartierplan” regulations, new types of use, higher density and more gross floor area.
